The ECO SWISS association is committed to economic environmental protection, occupational safety and occupational health protection. He takes an active part in ordinances, enforcement aids and other regulations on the following topics:

• Air and water
• Waste
• Climate
• Energy
• Chemicals
• Incident
• Occupational safety
• Occupational health protection
  

The association examines consultations (laws, ordinances, enforcement aids, standards, etc.) in these areas. ECO SWISS issues consultation responses if the following criteria need to be supported:

• Environmental protection and innovations in environmental protection must be sustainable and must be worthwhile
• Incentives over controls over regulations over bans
• The focus should be on practice, on proportionality, on feasibility and on an acceptable relationship between effect and costs
